Courtyard by Marriott Dallas Plano Parkway at Preston Road

Gross- best description. Hair and spit in sink, poop on toilet, dirty ice bucket on top and dirty plastic bag with dried sticky liquid on bottom and other repulsive substance inside and colored. Dust bunnies or spider remnants on side of shower door. 1 bedroom suite with 2 TVs and one remote. Waiting to be charged for that. Just ish. Got a whopping 15000 points for having a dirty room. So pathetic when they think a few points solves the problem of feeling like you just took a room from a John.

Last minute reservation due to working late and needing to stay close to our bakery. Checking in was easy, hotel was extremely clean and VERY welcoming. Staff was amazing. Our room was EVEN BETTER than perfect. I loved that they have full size bottles of shampoo,conditioner, and body wash...seeing as how our stay was last minute we had none of that! Beds were comfy and cozy. LOVED the patio area overlooking the pool area. All in all, I stay in ALOT of hotels due to traveling for work and this was DEFINITELY top ranking!

I stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott Dallas Plano Parkway at Preston Road for one night while attending a friend’s wedding. The hotel was more expensive than many other options in the area, but I was looking for something a little nicer and decided to pay the extra cost. The entrance and lobby were beautiful and made a great first impression. The space felt modern, well-designed, and gave me high expectations for the rest of the stay. Unfortunately, once I got to the room, those expectations weren’t quite met. The room was clean, which I appreciated, but it felt very old and not up to date in terms of design and maintenance. You could clearly tell it was showing its age—outdated finishes, worn details, and nothing particularly refreshed or modern. That said, for one night, it was fine

A joke. $10 for parking when my car is not there all day. $50 a day for incidentals that are never used. No landscaping work done. Tape used to hold things together. Scuffed up, dirty hallways never vacuumed. So this is what Marriott has become. The manager is clearly focused on herself, not customer service. Rooms have intermittent wifi and satellite, no microwave, and no coffee. DO NOT BOTHER WITH THIS LOCATION.

During my stay at this Courtyard Marriott, a U.S. passport went missing from my room. It was last accounted for before housekeeping access and has not been recovered. I immediately reported the issue, clearly described the exact location where the passport was left (next to the TV on the table), and followed all procedures, including filing a police report. What has been most concerning is the handling of the situation afterward. The claims department did not contact me on its own; I only received a response after repeatedly following up and after the hotel’s General Manager directly intervened. Once she called them, I received an immediate call—raising questions about why urgency only appeared after escalation. Throughout multiple conversations, my description of where the passport was
