This historic property, replete with charm, is ideally situated. It is an eight-minute walk to downtown, a short stroll to Chinatown, and a 10-15 minute walk to Beacon Hill, with the North End accessible within 10-20 minutes. My accommodations, though compact, were impeccably clean and comfortable. The hotel is currently undergoing a significant renovation, with work anticipated to conclude on the 15th floor. I had the opportunity to observe the renovation progress on the 15th floor and was fortunate enough to receive a guided tour. The updated rooms and furnishings are exquisite, and the hallways feature tastefully redesigned wallpaper. The restoration of the original millwork above the elevators, previously concealed by wallpaper, is a particularly commendable detail. The remodeling aest
The hotel is in a great location near the Theater District and Chinatown in Boston. Check in at the hotel was fast. The rooms are small and worn, and the bathrooms extremely tiny. The rooms definitely need an update.||The hotel forgot to clean my room one day (and stated I asked not to have cleaned), and they did not have any staff to clean the room when I requested. The Front Desk staff are not very friendly. The hotel is really affordable for central Boston. The hotel is quite average overall, and not new looking like so many Marriott Courtyards in other locations.
The bed is very soft. The chair provided is an adjustible comfort one which I think it's good for most people but not for us. I prefer a simple chair.
Spent 6 days here last week with my daughter and it was an excellent choice! Location is awesome! It's central, which enabled us to walk everywhere we wanted to go, plus it's across the street from the orange line at Tufts and down the street from the green line at Boyleston and the park. It's also just a few blocks from Chinatown! Lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. Rooms were decent size, clean & nice and bright. They also have a nice gym. I would definitely stay here again!
This property is outdated, with small rooms that have an unpleasant odor. The front desk staff and management were rude and inconsiderate, which made the experience even worse. The location is not ideal, as the surrounding area has a high presence of homeless individuals and numerous bars, creating an unsafe atmosphere. The hallways are lined with cameras, which only reinforces the feeling of insecurity. The management and staff here do not reflect Marriott’s standards and should undergo retraining to ensure proper customer service. Guests are paying for a quality experience, and this property fails to deliver. I strongly recommend that @[email protected] review this establishment and take corrective action, particularly with the front desk team—from managers to check-in represen
