Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, York, PA

We stayed at this hotel for a state college championship swim competition where my daughter was competing. Malcolm and the fat guy (😂), were exceptionally courteous. The manager and his staff have superior customer service from the guy that runs the breakfast to the ladies at the counter and the housekeepers. The rooms are very, very clean, well decorated, and comfortable! The breakfast was delicious, and the atmosphere was great! The area surrounding the facility is very safe and calm. It’s also very close to everything the city has to offer. I would recommend staying here and will book this location when I return to the next state championship meet! Thank you guys for the amazing experience and hospitality!

Country Inn and Suites is an easy on/off I-83 at the Queen St. exit. I like the staff here. They all have been friendly over multiple visits. Agneri is usually at the front desk when I check in. Matt is usually somewhere near the front desk when I have breakfast. I haven’t met Tony yet. They start breakfast at 6:30 AM. At this and other similar hotels, the breakfast is prepared in a pantry room and served buffet style. Thankfully they vary it by day, so try again tomorrow if you don’t like today’s breakfast. I think the lobby is welcoming. The area around the hotel is safe. I have stayed here multiple times. The rooms in this and other similar chains often have minor problems in most rooms. I don’t make a big deal most of the time. I trust all of the staff at this hotel.

The elevator was broken all weekend. I reported that our TV did not work when we arrived on Friday and when we checked out on Sunday it still was not working. After we came back from a wedding we asked to sit in the breakfast area to eat some food together as a family and the ladies response was as long as you clean up after yourselves and handed us a spray bottle and wash cloth. In the room the cabinet doors would not shut. The other front desk personnel were pleasant.

This was a personal trip that was close to the hospital. The staff here was so helpful and incredibly kind. They went out of their way to make you feel welcome and to accommodate you. I had to cancel at the last minute on one occasion because of surgery glitches, and they told me just to give them a call when we would be back and they would take care of us. The room itself was not bad at all, and the location was prime.

Rooms had a funny smell, no daily housekeeping so when we ran out of clean towels and toilet paper nobody was at the front desk. Carpets and elevator was dirty. Shower faucet falling out of wall. Next time I will be reading reviews before I stay at another place like this.
