Comfort Inn Horsham - Philadelphia

The hotel stinks like marijuana. Our entire hallway reeked. Otherwise, was ok. Breakfast buffet was clean, well-stocked, and tasty. Pet-friendly hotel with a cute cat at the check-in desk. Beds were comfy. Room was clean. Centrally located for all of our holiday needs. Hallways could use a bit of fresh paint and carpet cleaning.

Positive: The lobby and a breakfast staff. Negative: I did not like the bad I was really hard and the pillows are no good. I woke up with pain in my neck.

Although only an hour away, we wanted to be a bit closer to Peddler's Village. Misson accomplished! We were warmly greeted by Nate and got my Choice Rewards goodie. The lobby was decorated beautifully for Christmas, and it was very clean and welcoming. We unpacked then hit the road for Peddler's Village. We had a wonderful time there, and then had a really yummy dinner. After that, we holed up in our cozy room. Our bed was so comfortable and we cranked up the heat! We both slept great and had such a great breakfast around 9 a.m. I had a bagel with cream cheese, with an egg "saucer" with cheese on top. I also had two cups of coffee - it was so tasty! My Sir had a fresh self poured waffle, a sausage patty and eggs. He enjoyed his tasty coffee as well. There were plenty

Management changed ... the hotel service and welcoming atmosphere has declined horribly. Not only is there no longer a friendly greeting with appreciation of your stay as you return your key card, she doesn't even acknowledge your presence. The level of training is also disappointing regarding the evening and late night shift. I arrived after 11pm to check in for my reservation on a Wednesday eve and was told that I would have to wait until 12:05am to be assigned a room and to complete the check-in process, as the night receptionist could not access his computer. This was not a situation of technology failure, but a system- wide, pre-arranged, hour-long update. As the management provided no common sense instruction to the night employees to simply print a list of available rooms prior 1

It was a great stay. Gym is better than other hotels I've stayed at. Only issue, our room was next to the elevator. The elevator is pretty loud. I'm a deep sleeper, so I was able to block it out. But it may be an issue for other guest who stay in that room.
