Comfort Inn Grand Rapids Airport

Sai at the front desk is absolutely wonderful — so friendly and made us feel right at home the second we walked in! We just checked in and already love it here. The hotel feels clean and cozy, our room smells fresh, the bed is super soft and spotless, and the TV is a nice big smart TV (huge bonus!). The bathroom is sparkling too. We travel all over the country and stay in different hotels every week, and honestly, this one’s already one of our favorites. The location is great — tons of food and shopping close by. We’ll be here for a week for work, and I’m so happy we chose this place. It just feels comfortable and welcoming.

Convenient location, room was small but clean. Bed comfortable. Had let front desk know I needed a shuttle to the airport in the morning, and was told to just come to the lobby at 7 am. I was there at 6:50 and I waited for it and it did not come. Clerk saw me but did not say anytihng. I finally asked him about the shuttle (at 7:10) and then he called an uber to take me.

everything was excellent. We really liked the room as well. The only issue was when we checked in the person behind the desk stated the shuttle to the airport ran every hour on the hour the next morning. When we went the next morning to get the shuttle to go to the airport they stated we shuttle bus was being serviced/not in use. We had to order a UBER to get to the airport. Otherwise the stay at the Comfort Inn Airport Hotel in Grand Rapids was excellent.

I have stayed here a number of times, but this hotel needs some upgrades. Things I noticed in room 135: The closet door rubbed on the carpet and was very hard to open and close. There was no hook on the back of the bathroom door. There was a bad red stain at the foot of one of the beds. One of the pictures was hung so 1/2 of it was behind the TV (it easily could be moved over). There are no USB ports on any of the fixtures. I noticed other minor cleaning issues. The room was adequate for my stay this time.

I needed some time away from home due to some difficulties at home. I saw this hotel while driving by, so I turned into the parking lot. I checked reviews and seemed fine. When I checked in I asked for the top floor thinking it might be more quiet. I was given the room key and I got to the room . I entered and used the restroom, without any alarm bells going off. I hadn't eaten yet that day, so dropped my bag and headed to olive garden. Had a relaxing meal at the bar and a cocktail before heading back to the hotel around 8. When I got back to the hotel I started to feel unsafe because I found some weird holes! I took pictures! Wish I could put the photos of what the mattress looked like!
