Comfort Inn Gallup I-40 Exit 20

We like this hotel and actively chose it over a fancier competitor that offered us an in house discount. This hotel has a great staff, good and reliable breakfast and comfortable rooms. Again we like this hotel. We travel here for work often. Our schedule changes rapidly and we often add or drop a day at the end of a stay. It seems we booked under a promotion; which we don’t need we would rather have flexibility. We had to leave a day early and cannot get a refund for the unused night. Corporate told me I have to get refunded by the hotel and the hotel told me it can’t be refunded. I respect that this is your policy but I would rather do business with a hotel that is more flexible.

We drove in late from a very long trip and just needed a little rest. The staff was polite and helpful. Check in was pretty quick and easy. The lobby and hall is awesome. Love the tributes to our military. Loved it. The rooms are a little in need of refresh. Furniture worn out a bit and I am not sure those are actually queens but the room and bathroom were very clean, the parking felt safe, and the rest of the staff very friendly. Hot shower with great water pressure always a perk! We did encounter a rather rude morning counter clerk but we were on our way and let it slide. All in all we'd likely stay here again if the need ever presented. We were a little late and didn't get breakfast but it smelled good.

I am a jewelry buyer. I frequently stay at this location and have always enjoyed my visits. This past visit-i left a bag of sterling jewelry. The housekeeper (faith) immediately returned it to the front desk (Alaia) who contacted me. I want to commend two people who could have easily stolen the items. So, i sure hope that Comfort Inn recognizes the honesty and hard work from these 2 ladies . Thank you

On our vacation we have stayed in 9 hotels. This hotel was the best of all of them. Beds were comfortable, the pillows were the best. Being an accessibility room everything was great. The only problem was the 2 toilet paper holders, one needs repair.

The hotel is being renovated and has a welcoming clean and fresh look, Staff were pleasant and accommodating. Our room was comfortable, clean and well appointed in including a fridge and microwave. Unfortunately the breakfast room is quite congested and food is just adequate. The waffle maker was out of order during our stay reducing the choices even further. The location is excellent right off of I- 40. Beware - there are noisy trains on nearby tracks with crossings nearby meaning you hear the noise od horns blowing frequently. I would recommend for an overnight while travelling.
