Comfort Inn By the Bay

Terry, Jonathan and Eva we're all extremely helpful friendly and professional. The hotel is in a great location.Kept very clean and the rooms are big and bright. The bed is comfortable and clean. The bathroom is spacious , very clean as well and fully functional. The view from the upper floors is priceless. In a great part of town , closer to the water with the views of the golden gate. The parking is a great deal as other places charge sixty to seventy dollars a day...they charge 35. You have to walk to the garage as well off site in many other higher priced hotels. Here the garage is under the hotel and very convenient. It's fairly quiet considering it's on a major intersection of lombard and Van Ness. There is an issue with the air units. Great location and beautiful view of the Golden Gate Bridge from our room! The staff was very friendly and helpful and we felt very comfortable and safe which was great since we've ended up in some questionable hotels in San Francisco before because what they marketed online was definitely false advertising. I was pleasantly surprised here. Only down side is the very small parking garage.

We had a very pleasant stay at Comfort Inn by the Bay. The location is excellent — walking distance to Fisherman’s Wharf, Ghirardelli Square, and a number of great restaurants. It was also nice having bus stops nearby for getting around the city. ||The room was clean, the beds comfortable, and many rooms offer wonderful views .It was a treat waking up to those vistas. || The complimentary hot breakfast gave us a good start every morning — there was enough variety and staff kept it refreshed. ||The team at reception was friendly and helpful, and we appreciated being able to drop off luggage before check‑in to make better use of our first day.||That said, there were no worrying downsides.|| Also, some facilities feel a little dated — carpets, furniture, and general decor could use an update.

I had a great stay at Comfort Inn by the Bay. The service was exceptional, and the rooms were very clean and well maintained. Breakfast in the morning was good and a nice way to start the day. The location is excellent for visiting San Francisco, and our room had a beautiful view, which made the stay even more enjoyable. I especially want to thank Jonathan and Terry. They truly went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and felt well taken care of. Five stars for the stay! Highly recommend.

I really enjoyed our stay here! My partner and I came for a weekend in SF, stayed here and had a great time. The location is great, and cute neighborhood. It’s close by a lot of restaurants, and coffee shops (beware of the hills if you aren’t familiar haha). There is parking! We liked the service so much, we came back two weekends later for business and Jonathan at the front desk greeted us so kindly! He remembered us from the last time, and is the loveliest staff!! He’s efficient, super warm, and great at his job. 10/10 for service and would return again!
