Coastal Motel

So basically, I came here to see my older brother ( a marine ) this was the closest stay to the camp. The room is mid ngl, it’s not as bad as I thought. The service was amazing, they checked my family in at 11:30. The location, really good.

Very good location for family visiting their Marine . That’s about all the good I can say. My son nicknamed it the Blackmold Inn. Room was very dated. Black mold in the bathroom. Use this place as a last option.

Last summer(2016) I submitted a review for this place, now I feel a 2nd review is needed since we've just completed our 4th visit to the Coastal Motel. My husband and I are truly happy to have found this place!! Our beach weekends have increased due to their reasonable summer time rates! Rooms are very basic but they have been consistently clean and comfortable. After a day at the beach all we need is a place to pop open a bottle of wine, shower and get a good night sleep so we can hit the beach again🦀🐚

We had been traveling in heavy rain on motorcycle from the outer banks and just needed a place to lay our heads price was okay ,room very out dated but clean, the biggest problem , other than free wifi there was absolutely no other amenities, had ice machine ,but nothing to put it in,no cups,no hair dryer,microwave broken,no hangers in closet, car christmas tree deodorizer in closet. THE GOOD; The sheets were clean and crisp had new laminate flooring, The bathroom was clean had good water pressure and good hot water. Bed was comfortable. If it had had just a few of the things we expect to find at a motel I would have given it a lot higher marks
