Clarion Pointe Staunton East

My room was clean, spacious, and nicely laid out. My bed was very comfortable, and the motel was very quiet and relaxing. Several nearby restaurants made eating out very easy. Easy on and off access to the interstate. Friendly and accommodating staff. The breakfast could stand a little Improvement. It was adequate, but that was about it. I never saw a staff member restocking the heated tray with sausage and eggs in it. I skipped the eggs because they looked like they were pretty rubbery.

Nice location in Staunton. Request room looking east at the mountains. Wow! Our view the big electric unit and back parking lot. Accessible room should be available with a nice view. I use a walker. The tub is to tall in height to access it. The 5-7 handrails are excellent in the tub and near the toilet. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Great HVAC system. Plenty of room between doorways and furnishings to use the walker. Easy to use TV. Suggestions. Lower the height of the nice mirror over the bathroom sink. To high if your in a wheelchair or short. Accessible shower.

It was clean. The breakfast was better than we expected. The price was reasonable. The staff was pleasant. We were particularly impressed by the guy who checked us in and was still working when we checked out in the morning. He worked the breakfast area in the morning. He was courteous and focused on doing whatever was needed for the guests the entire time.

The room is comfortable and warm. It could use a small lamp on the desk. The views out the front are lovely; the parking is good. I think the breakfast choices are excellent. I had a little trouble with the wi fi with my computer, but not with my phone. I had to keep reconnecting and it wouldn't connect easily, but that could have been me, since the first time it was easy.

Comfortable room and a hot shower, everything clean and breakfast was ok. However the hotel staff deserve 5 stars for the way they ensured lost property was returned to us. Particularly thanks go to front-of-house and housekeeping staff.
