Clarion Inn Falls Church-Arlington

Overall 2 stars, Good things that happened: Staff was extremely nice! Rooms were a decent size. Breakfast tasted good. They had free shuttle services, shuttle was very nice! Pretty good things. Bad things that happened: We had to call the police on an incident right outside our window in the middle of the night. There's a nightclub/bar that is part of the hotel. My dad saw dead roaches. The beds were on a slant. Sinks were hard to use. Water pressure in shower was not good. Not the best hotel but not the worst ever.

Hotel itself was nice but having no elevator was a huge downer and enough to knock off a couple points by itself. Front desk people were pleasant though, rooms were nice and up to date and appropriately clean. Breakfast was better than I expected. Water pressure could stand to be a little better, but the overall bathroom was just fine otherwise.

Being Choice member, and unfortunately I didn’t feel very welcomed during check-in, the hospitality at the front desk could definitely use some improvement. However, the rooms were clean and very nice, and the housekeeping staff did an excellent job, how they fold the sheets and fold the towels is really amazing. Their friendliness and attention to detail really stood out and made the stay better.

2 major issues with this hotel. 1. There is a chance my credit card was hacked by the front desk. If this happened to you please write a review. I did not use my credit card my entire trip so unless it was skimmed in a taxi, it was at this hotel. 2. My room was near a restaurant and they were hosting a party there where some of the attendees were also hotel guests. It was super loud and people were wasted. If you book this place ask them if they are having an event in the restaurant that is attached. If they say yes, do not book. Overall the place is kind of sketchy and I do not recommend staying here.

Positive: It was easy access to check in and out Negative: Well I have say. They don’t accept cash In case there is an issue with the card. To refund the money back in the credit card is a little bit complicated. But other than that is. All good
