Castle Inn

They literally have everything for the most regular price per night! Everything was nice and clean. Heater was working great, it was quite all night even though all the rooms were occupied. The only minor issues were the icy cold water in the sink (you can turn on the hot water in the shower), and the alarm sound turns on every time you return to the covered parking lot (you can't hear it from inside the room, it doesn't bother you to sleep). I liked the convenient location within walking distance from the museum of cable cars, I liked the price and all the amenities they provide, I’ll come to SF a lot in the future and I’ll definitely come back to this place!

Castle Inn is in a great location, a nice walk down to Fisherman's Wharf. Rooms are clean and spacious, with comfy beds and plenty of facilities in the room. Mini fridge, tea & coffee and complementary toiletries. Guy on reception was very welcoming and gave great advice on the local area pointing out the local supermarkets, restaurant's etc. Even advised where not to go - Tenderloin (one to avoid) . If you've not been to San Fran before, beware of all hills and inclines! A wonderful diverse city, wouldn't hesitate to go back, and would defiantly stay at the Castle Inn.

Must be one of the safest areas in SF. Did not see or smell a single anomaly. Carpark not suitable for large SUVs, though we managed our Tahoe with literally hairsbreadths to spare, very grateful for the parks. Beds were comfortable. Lacking sound insulation but neighbors were not too bad. Cleaner trying to clean at 9.30am every morning. Has a microwave. I'd say this is an ok 3 star accommodation, or a very comfortable 2 star.

Castle Inn San Francisco was a great budget-friendly stay. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, and the location is perfect—close to Lombard Street, Fisherman’s Wharf, and easy public transit. Staff were friendly and helpful, and parking was convenient. Solid value for the price and I’d stay here again.

This hotel was perfect for what it is! The front desk staff was super accommodating and helpful. It’s in such a great location, easy to get around via public transit, bikes/scooters, and ride share. It’s also fun to walk around and it’s close to a fair amount of restaurants. The bed was comfortable but the room is where you really get what you pay for; it wasn’t the nicest or cleanest, but for the value I would stay again!
