Candlewood Suites Coralville - Iowa City by IHG

I LOVE IT!!! I prefer to cook myself on trips so that why I choose them. The kitchenette is just right. They also host a customer appreciation night on Fridays. Im not sure if they do that once a month or every week but they had some pretty good food. The staff there are by far the most professional!!!! Everywhere is spotless and you always see someone cleaning. They really care about their guest.

The hotel is modern and very clean. When we were there, a hail storm took out the WiFi. The staff was polite about it and explained the situation. The staff were quick to accommodate any needs we had. Not many Candlewood serve a nice breakfast. Definitely the nicest Candlewood Suites.

The staff were professional, welcoming, and always ready to assist with anything when we needed it. The complimentary breakfast was fresh and well-organized, offering a great variety to start the morning right. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations in every way — clean, comfortable, and family-friendly. Highly recommended for anyone traveling with loved ones or by themselves.

My stay at this hotel was absolutely amazing! Everything from the moment I arrived to the time I checked out was perfect. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, the rooms were spotless and beautifully designed, and the atmosphere was so relaxing. Every detail showed how much care and effort goes into making guests feel special. The breakfast was delicious, and the service was fast and professional. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience — I’ll definitely be coming back!

Great property and room amenities. But absolutely zero room cleaning. They say they'll clean your room once a week but I've had a 2+ week stay and never had the room cleaned once including when asking the front desk twice. If you say you'll only clean rooms once a week, that's fine but at least follow through especially if you promise to do so. It's a shame because the rest of the property and amenities are great as it's a new, modern hotel with a good breakfast and free parking.
