Cabarrus Inn

The owner's and employees were very nice and helpful. They always made sure I had everything I needed. Rooms were clean and I was enjoying my stay.

At first I was nervous but I picked this hotel based off of reviews and price. The reviews were correct. It’s clean and quiet. The gentleman at the front desk was pleasant and kind. Place looks sketchy as you pull in but it’s great for an overnight or two. Priced just right. No bugs

It's the cheapest room around so you may not expect much. But my room was surprisingly clean, comfortable and overall nice. I thought it was odd that you can not make reservations through their own website-it directs you to the third party travel websites. I didn't want to deal with a third party so phoned them instead. I spoke to a woman who took my info &credit card info. That was on a Sunday. On Friday the woman behind the front desk couldn't find my reservation in the computer. So a man from the back is called up and he looks too. All the while they're speaking to each other [not English so can't understand] and they make no effort to apologize about what is really a minor delay. No effort at all for the usual chit chat pleasantries. You'll feel like an interruption rather than a cus

Stayed 3 nights overall. On the last night they stole my $20 deposit. Asked to look at the camera which they did, but conveniently doesn't have a view of the night time window and overall extremely poor video or view of the area where the transaction takes place. Overall expect the same experience as a no star motel with the bugs included. First night room 214 has roaches in the bathroom. 2nd night room 212 was much better, no bugs. Last room no bugs found, but ceiling was falling apart and had stuff all over the floor and bed. I'm not trying to beat them up because they were good to me up to the point when money was involved. You have to come to your own opinion, but this was my experience and I believe a fair review.

Decent hotel for what you pay, we almost went to the quality inn hotel because it looked better but the reviews said otherwise compared to this one... has nice cable TV and decent beds. Didn't really hang around the hotel of course but I would say sleeping there overall was decent. They do require a deposit though.
