Buena Vista Inn

Very good and an economical hotel in downtown SF. Room was so neat, clean and spacious. Had all amenities like bath, shower, international power sockets a big plus. No breakfast but can easily manage. Limited basement covered parking with elevator access. The way the left the customer feedback and service was touching. Looks at feedback form picture I posted here. Front desk is mostly virtual but folks in counter were so welcoming. Definitely will visit again. Very close to lots of attractions.

Positive: In a safe feeling neighborhood. Front desk was accommodating and able to answer all my questions. Parking was available when we got there but was in a small and tight garage. Luckily we didn’t hear much disturbance. Was quiet enough during our stay. Negative: It’s an inn motel vibe, the price was more than I wanted it to be for the aesthic, but it felt clean. But I wish they didn’t charge for requesting for a microwave in the room (10 dollars)

The inn is in a safe and quiet part of town near the marina, with several major landmarks within walking distance. Reception was always friendly & helpful, even late at night. They were around to assist with finding parking lots when it got crowded. They also handled package deliveries in an organized and efficient manner. Our only complaint was the carpet in the room was perpetually cold and wet throughout our stay due to the air con leaking, and the wetness extended over half the room. We called about this but was told it's normal. However we were able to overlook this by wearing shoes in the room. Otherwise, we had a great stay here!

It’ll due type location but unfortunately for us it came with issues. Arriving first night, found hair in both beds and room was musty. They did quickly bring more bedding but for us to change ourselves. How nice.. found more hair in the towels next morning. Ask for more towels up leaving for the day, came back to room being “serviced” yet.. left the original bedding in the corner from first night. New towels had more hair in them. Bathroom had an old used soap bar in it. The shower handle was messed up and needed fixing. And again more hair! On the walls and ceiling of the bathroom? Don’t think the room was properly cleaned to begin with. Beds are very FIRM! AC works well. Staff is nice. Parking is VERY tight FCFS for garages. If you dont find parking by evening.. you’ll be hunting block

Selected this place to stay because it was one of the few that offered free parking. Other hotels cost $40-80 a night for parking. Got lucky because it was actually a nice inn. Clean. Friendly staff. Great location! We got around to all the main sites within 10minutes or so. (Pier, bridge, Chinatown, Lombard, pink ladies).
