Budget Inn San Luis Obispo

My girlfriend threw up unexpectedly during to a stomach virus she had. Their response was even though we had another week already booked, we had to be kicked out. Horrible and inhumane management. No one should stay here.

Negative ten stars. Absolute disgrace.|They jacked up the rate because SLO was sold out, then shoved us into a filthy room that reeked of chemical spray and heavy vape stench. The air burned your nose. Surfaces grimy.||Front desk stonewalled every complaint, rudely. Booking.com tried and got the same brick wall. Both sides played the blame game and kept the money. Zero integrity.||Their "no smoking" sign is pure fiction. Guests openly vaped, smoked, and partied in the walkways while staff did nothing. Noise until late.||This place exists only to grab your cash. If these are the last beds in town, keep driving and sleep in your car before you hand them a cent.

Location is great, close to downtown. Room was very outdated. Very dirty. The floor seem to not been mopped for years. The wall was dirty as well. A lot of bugs, mosquitoes flying around and killed some moths. It is very affordable, but it needs to be cleaner. I stayed for 3 nights and not a single day did they clean the room.

Basic budget accommodation, nothing fancy. Hot water took a very long time to warm up, but it was nice to have a big bed. Location was great, about a 15 min walk to downtown/the mission. The staff was very friendly and accommodating!
