Budget Inn New Cumberland

This room is absolutely horrific. My wife and I needed a room quick tonight as we was traveling through and got here around 1030pm. The heater barely worked, it looked like blood on the blankets, the room definitely wasn't cleaned or at least properly, there was "body hair" all over the walls in the shower, floors had piles of dirt on them and the TV wasn't setup for use. When we went to the office we was told we made the mess, and we just checked in not even 10 minutes earlier. Also she told us nothing she could do about the TV. We had to file a report with our bank to get our money back. Worst motel I've ever been to. Be ware of this major heath hazard of a motel

I checked in and after 55 minutes in my room I killed 2 bugs I found dirt in the shower dead bugs and dirt in drawers and stains on the sheets as well on pillows and dirt and food crumbs in yhe bed all of which I took pics of they offered me another room and it was dirty as well no clean sheets smashed chips on floor and the tub and toilet hadnt been cleaned at all and they had no other room available and they have refused to give me a refund for my 2 night stay as I left that night and I needed a room as my pipes had broke at home that day

Issues every year, we stay with a large group that books almost the entire place. Issues with room keys not working year after year. Last year we got locked out of our room at 3am with a 3month old baby. We had to call the police and have them contact the maintenance man, who then had to call the owner. Two years ago the toilet in another room clogged and overflowed and fecal matter and toilet water was all over the bathroom and bedroom floor. the water was shut off TWICE while we were using it this year. Second time maintenance guy was rude and said that at 11pm he didn't think it would be an issue (even though there were still several guests besides us), room keys quit working twice, toilet clogs and overflows with minimal effort(3 times this year), dinner at boomerang was less than impr

Ended up leaving and booking another place since it was impossible to sleep. Extremely run down and dirty. Will be requesting a refund so we will see how that goes. I don’t expect much from a budget motel, but blatant false advertisement and filth is where I draw the line. Many of the advertised items were non existent. However there was a fridge, which I did not expect. But that fridge was sitting on top of the desk dripping water everywhere. So not really a win.
