Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Harrisburg West

For being branded as a Marriott, this is such a disappointment... The location is awful, the high way noise is way too much, it's so loud at night. The heat doesn't work well. The room service god awful. I stayed for 2 weeks and they probably cleaned my room 3 or 4 times. One time they took my twix bar I was saving for dessert 🥲. The water pressure in shower is garbage. The breakfast was mid af, I barely get to eat cause I work Before it opens. But the time I was able to eat, the coffee was cold, and the only good thing was the waffle maker, which they ran out and didn't replace, so I didn't even get that.... I don't usually post reviews but this place was so garbage I had to.

***DON'T STAY HERE*** Do yourself a favor and NEVER STAY HERE. The amenities advertised don't work or are broke. Internet not working on the TVs so you cannot watch the YouTube or Netflix on the TV. Very noisy from the traffic and people all night long slamming doors and partying in the hallways. I complained about the pool and hot tub being ice cold, they said they had never heard that before but when I checked reviews people have been complaining about it for 3 weeks. We chose this hotel because we came to go shopping and it was close to the mall. It was the only hotel with a pool and hot tub in this area. If they would have reached out and told us the hot tub was not working I could have booked another hotel with at least a pool that had warm water. Even if we could have swam there

Thankfully, Our stay was only overnight. Before I start my rant, let me start off with these two as a FYI: When you check in, make sure your room is NOT connected to a conjoined room because some rooms have that. It was fine for us because we wanted it, but for someone who doesn't, make sure you ask when booking your stay. This is NOT the properties fault, but there is barely any places that deliver, so get food before going back to your room. Let's start with the bad: The indoor pool was COLD. I said ok, I'll let it go, it's a pool. I go to the hot tub and that water is also COLD. We see a timer thinking that should heat it up, it doesn't work. The kids didn't mind, but the adults didn't enjoy it, so we sat on the chairs and watched. My room had an EMPTY bottle of body wash in the shower

Hotel was ok, wasn’t expecting too much from a Fairfield. The room was ok. Bed is comfortable. Tv was basic couldn’t access Netflix/youtube because the internet was down. Shower a lil slippery. Breakfast…Mediocre. I had a situation with the transgender manger “Annie/Arnold” or whatever its name is. Was very rude, when I approached him on a matter. Kept over talking me, wouldn’t let me get a word in edge wise. Very hostile, I would never visit this hotel again. I had a similar incident with this transgender before when he was working at the TownePlace hotel in York PA.
