Motel 6 New Cumberland, PA - Harrisburg - Hershey South

Very Professional Owner & staff. Am handicapp and they checked up on me, and made sure I was ok .. I barely walk, so they asked me if there was anything I may need. I love the place. Rooms are clean, nice and quiet. You can sleep in Peace. They are definitely a 10 plus. Very respectful, very opened to help if needed. I recommend this motel to anyone needing a place that feels like home. 💯

Positive: The staff was friendly. Negative: Everything. The terrible beds. The horrible smell. The pool wasn’t open. Everything was old and stained and there was one outlet in the room. Never visiting this hotel again.

It had been a long time since I'd stayed at this motel, about twenty-something years. And a lot has changed throughout the country, especially in the lodging industry.Considering the exorbitant prices these days for a one-night stay in a non-five-star motel, I'd say the small room they gave me for myself wasn't bad for the price. The reason I'm giving it three stars is because it didn't have a microwave or refrigerator, and the TV was quite old, with only 25 to 30 pixels.The bathroom seems to be from the 18, century but everything was clean.Although I only came across one cockroach, well, what else can you expect? Not everything can be perfect.

An absolute dump. I stayed for one night with my dog. One of the beds in my room had hairs and bits of something else unidentifiable on the sheets. Good thing I was only one person. The room also had roach baits in it, which my dog got a hold of. There was no roach on the wall. There was dirt behind the night stand. It looked like instead of vacuuming they just brush it all behind there. I used to stay here a few times a year, but that was pre-covid. Clearly nothing has been done to this place since before that.

Motel was clean enough for a motel 6, stayed 1.5 nights, first night was ok, about what you would expect. how ever after we came back to the hotel room after our day out, we had scene serval roaches run from the dog food bowl (it was empty when we left so its not like there was something to entice them into it). We immediately packed up the vehicle checking everything before packing it a way. Proceeded to go check out and make a complaint about the roaches, but they came took the card and walked away from the window and didn't want to come back after knocking and standing around for a few minutes. we will not be booking with any Motel 6s in the foreseeable future
