Magnuson Grand Harrisburg

Hotel is a bit outdated. There isn’t a permanent receptionist. The person taking the table reservations for the restaurant is the same one checking people in to the hotel. With that being said, rooms are adequate and the convenience of having a bar/restaurant, hotel and comedy club in the same vicinity is so, SO nice. Would 100% stay here again.

Positive: Location Negative: The staff and the room. Room smelled of heavy cigarette smoke, and tv didn't work. When I informed the man at the front desk, he told me to leave because he had no other rooms.

This was a good place to stay. The staff I met were absolutely amazing people. Natalie in the bar/restaurant was pleasant and welcoming in addition to having a great attitude. The food was a welcome feature as I hadn’t expected it to be somewhere I would end up eating all four nights. Great job to the staff.

There’s no clear signs which door to go to for checking in. Once we found the correct location nobody was there. We had to wait awhile for someone to show up and there were 3 other people in line already. It’s more a restaurant/comedy club/bar that happens to have some motel rooms. The rooms are nothing fancy but fine for our one night. It was so loud in the hallway until the bar closed. We could hear everything and people were not quiet at all. Didn’t like that there was a door to the outside but all you see is another motel. The location is right off the highway though.

Great place and location, because we held our class reunion there. Lots to do, with a regular bar area, an outside area. a comedy club, and more. You can also walk to the Diner and a McDonalds/7-11.
