Budget Inn Express

The rooms weren't terrible but there are cockroaches! We found hair in and on the bedding, yet the bedding had looked un slept in. I believe it may have been from housekeeping. The price is inexpensive, but I would never recommend this to anyone. Also a person we met told us this was the Bad part of town!! Thank goodness we only stayed 1 night on our way through town.

I recently stayed at Budget Inn Express with a friend and had a wonderful experience. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful, making sure that we had everything we needed for our stay. The room itself was clean and cozy, with all the necessary amenities such as a comfortable bed, clean linens, and a well-equipped kitchenette. We were also pleasantly surprised by the spacious bathroom with a luxurious shower.

This place was horrible! I would much rather have spent the night in the car and saved my $75 for a couple of hours. The guy didn't accept credit cards and the room was filthy. I NEVER leave a bad review even if the place isn't that desirable but this place stinks. I would only stay there again if my life depended on it and then it's questionable. The bathroom hasn't even been cleaned because there were cigarette ashes on the floor under where the toilet paper was. I wouldn't dare walk without some kind of shoes on your feet. There's wasn't any access or control over the a/c or the heat for that matter so thank God I had my own fan. It was so hot you felt like you were gonna melt. This place was so outdated it was just ridiculous. Save your money and sleep in your car.

Normally prices for a room here is $75. Since Fema it's almost a thousand for 1 night. I thought this was legal, it's more like price gouging. Fema is basically government. So who is paying for the price gouging? And to actually see the employees having to kick people out in the streets in the cold. Just to struggle even more?

This hotel has false advertising. They have a bug sign out front that says low daily and weekly rates. Last Thursday i paid 340.00 for the week . Tonight I was told I could no longer pay by the week a0nd the price went from the advertised price of 66.00 to 70.00 a night they raised their weekly rate almost 150.00 more. They are giving their weekly renters that have been over seven years papers stating they have to be out by a certain because of price change .. This is illegal and they will lose alot of business for false advertisements.
