Budget Inn Alexandria

Please, please don’t stay here. The rooms are nothing like the photos. It is so dirty, sheets are dirty with cigarette burns. There was not even a mirror in our room. The front of the fridge was dented and dirty. There was a dirty towel folded up under the mattress. Just all around disgusting. There are people out everywhere at all hours, shouting and smoking pot (for sure, other stuff, maybe). This is not a place to stop in - the beds were too scary to even sit on and theres no way i was going to use the shower or take off my shoes. This is not a place for children and i would not consider this a safe place. Also, would not give a refund, which i understand to a degree, and am just thankful I wasn’t robbed of more, shot, or contracted a disease or bed bugs.

Good for a lower price motel. It was a bit noisy during the early evening with people talking and doors slamming and dogs barking. This is a motel that people live at also. I felt safe however. The room was adequate but very minimal amenities. Water is scalding hot! Front desk clerk polite and friendly. Room was a bit dusty, bathroom sink was dirty as well as headboard of bed.

I don’t usually leave bad reviews but our experience was extremely bad. The online pictures are nothing like the actual rooms. The first room my family and I got had blood on the walls, roaches throughout the room, the floor was filthy and the bed smelt like a homeless person had been sleeping in it. The manager told me that we received that room because we booked online and not with him personally. Initially he said that he was all booked up for the night and 20 mins later we found an empty room that was 100% better.

Books room for husband and the room was absolutely disgusting. Blood and poop on wall, hair on every surface, pee on toilet, flakes on the bed, 3 cars with busted windows, etc. Asked for a new room and was told I had to wait till morning. Left and disputing charges with Expedia since they can't/wouldn't cancel my reservation.
