Boston Hotel

Believe it or not during DreamForce week, I was able to get a hotel room for $86. The Boston Hotel is quiet, clean, and set up for an on the go professional or someone who is just looking for a temporary stop. My room had a closet and a sink and a well made and clean comfortable bed. The environment was made up of professionals, vacationers, and several permanent tenants. The bathrooms and showers are clean and tenants and guests were respectful. I felt safe here. Don't let the neighborhood fool you - this is downtown inner City San Francisco. I would recommend this hotel in a second. Cheers.

Positive: They didn't let me in because it closes at 12am apparently. Yet it let me book and told me to be there by 2am. I havent got my refund or any kind of response even though they said they cancelled it. Negative: I didn't get to stay there!!!!

This is one of my top 3 budget hotels. It's older, but it's totally clean. The beds are new and really comfortable. The 40 inch TV has DISH. The shared bathrooms are very clean. The owners are really nice. Its one block into the Tenderloin so the hood is creepy, but its just homeless they don't bother you. A block away is Market St and its fine. It's a budget hotel. It's a great value.

I didn't do enough research on the location of this place. We checked in and went to our room but had to fight through all the homeless people in this street. Sill me thought Tenderloin was synonymous with great, but I should have asked my niece before booking. Parking was a huge issue too. The lot we went to was closed on weekends and given the state of the neighborhood, we just didn't trust any unprotected locations. We went back a few hours later and check out without even unpacking. It cost a $149 but was worth it as my wife deserved a better neighborhood and no parking hassles. As far as the hotel, it was clean, the staff were quite friendly. I feel bad for this place as location wise it doesn't cut it.

Positive: "" Negative: There was an infestation of some insect and the hotel was unable to voluntarily refund me for the rest of the nights booked. I had to show proof of the bites I got and evidence of the creatures. Eventually got a refund but doesn?t make up for the trauma
