Bluegreen Vacations Cibola Vista Resort and Spa, an Ascend Collection Resort

Our family enjoyed adjoining suites with grandpa. He had his own space. The pool area was fun for the whole family, with pingpong, a bar, waterslide and a huge pool. We came back again, too! This location was a nice base for spring training baseball, horseback riding, and then a daytrip toward the Grand Canyon. Thanks for the good times!

Nice sized bathroom, bedroom and kitchen. Deck is plenty big for 2 people. Hot water heater was going bad so only had minimal hot water. Maintenance respond very quickly when we mentiined this issue. Mattress was starting to sag, but still comfortable. Pools/hot tubs were great. Also great having the food truck/bar right by the main pool. Nice tennis/pickleball courts.

Resort is quiet and has a very large family pool with a slide, as well as, an adults only pool. Other amenities are available for family activities. Room was somewhat dated but comfortable. Basic bathroom necessities are available although body wash dispenser was empty. No basic kitchen necessities were available for cooking other than dishes, utensils, soap and paper towels. There were some awkward door placements whereby to access a closet an adjacent door had to be closed first or the toilet paper holder was behind a door, mild inconveniences but frustrating at times. Most notable was the limited food/drinks accessibility other than a food truck,food at the adult pool and a vending machine. Clearly, not a type of resort to which I am accustomed but the registration staff and spa staff

We came to Bluegreen vacations through interval international and was charged an additional resort fee per night after having paid the initial charges upfront. We were told that our room would be a first floor overlooking a courtyard which we asked if there was other rooms available at that point. We were given a second story in building number nine, which overlooks a field, but at least it wasn’t dark and gloomy. The rooms are approximately 800 ft.² nice size bathroom, comfortable bed. The resort is in a location not too far from all the necessities that we needed for a weeks stay. Minor complaints were it could’ve been a tad bit cleaner. Rooms are decent sized and full kitchen but guest services/front desk are terrible. Heated pool is great. Location is good close to shops, restaurants and gas. No restaurants here, only a food truck! They only clean your room ONCE on our 2 week stay although you can ask for fresh towels daily....staff that bring in the fresh towels just literally hand it out to you.....no smiles, no "how are you?", no "let the front desk know if you need anything else". We checked in on Sunday and we had our first and only housekeeping service on the following Monday (you have to make appointment). Front desk says that's their protocol. We're on the second floor and we have bugs flying around. They sprayed but still have bug bites. Sales people are pushy although I've heard about that before.
