Best Western Rochester Marketplace Inn

The hotel service and staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a suite with a couch , the frig worked great ( keep everything very cold) the microwave was small but adequate. The hot water was plentiful. The bed was firm but comfortable enough. The rug was old and worn. The TV had plenty of channels. The only problem was the Toliet! It was elongated but had a small round seat !! Ridiculous it should have been replaced long ago ( see photo ) the top of the tank didn't sit correctly as the internal works were higher than the tank walls. The parking was fine and there are electric charging stations there as well. The surrounding area has plenty of stores and restaurants for anyone's needs. We stayed at this hotel from Thursday to Sunday.|The first experience was that the shower floor was clogged. The second was that the pillows were horrible, and the bed was sunken in the middle, so you could feel the springs in certain areas. The final straw was that we had left a brand-new, unopened bag of chocolates in the refrigerator door on Thursday. It was there on Friday. We left at 11 a.m. on Saturday, and the bag was still there. When we arrived around 2:45 p.m., I opened the refrigerator, and the bag was gone. I notified the front desk employee, who made a note of it, but I don't know what they did. To conclude my review, we were left without chocolates. Don't stay at this hotel unless it's your only option.

Did not receive the room I booked. I called all day to try to confirm prior to my arrival and no one picked up the phone. Then come the morning( I still stayed because I paid for the room days in advance) gathering my things in the morning saw a mouse run across my room. So that was cool

The hotel is pretty run down and there is a huge gap from the floor under the door. Limited breakfast options but lot of parking and good location.

The front desk staff member who checked us in was friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable and the shower had plenty of hot water with good water pressure. Breakfast included lots of tasty options such as cheesy omlets, tater tots, fruit, and pastries. The only shortcoming was that the coffee my husband tried was "burnt." Overall, this was a comfortable and affordable hotel a short distance from downtown.
