Best Western Plus Coastline Inn

Staff was curious and helpful. Room was excellent. Clean. Super bowl Saturday and it was quiet and peaceful. I had a room that faced the river with a great view of the USS North Carolina battleship. Location wise and for the price. Can't beat it. Easy walk to the restaurants, coffee shops and breweries downtown. Definitely will stay here again.

I was prepared to be disappointed with this place but was pleasantly surprised! The room was a suite and had a nice payout with lots of space, clean and amazing views. A balcony would have been nice, especially with those views, but that is hard to find in a hotel. Location was great, close the amphitheater and in the middle of downtown destinations. Nice shower with "rainfall" shower head.

Positive: The staff. They were all so nice! Negative: The beds were so hard.

They share a parking lot with the railroad museum and Aloft. The view of Cape fear river is great. You are on the Riverwalk. The breakfast service is diligently managed in the best way. The rooms are older, but kept clean and sleek. The desk staff is friendly enough. You do have to pay $15 for parking. No complaints. We would stay here again.

Good location and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly, but their rooms were very disappointing. Beds have a paper thin blanket and paper thin cover on it, nothing to keep you warm and the pillows are about 8 in thick which no one could sleep on without getting a stiff neck. So I went to the front desk and she gave me an extra paper thin blanket that I doubled up(for ideal sleeping conditions The room should be cooler and we should have a warm comforter). And there happened to be one old thinner pillow in the back that I was able to use which was great. The TV remote had no batteries, so I picked up the phone to call the front desk but the phone didn't work. Overall was probably a good thing for me cuz I don't really need to watch TV but just the fact that there were no batteries i
