Beresford Arms Hotel

Hotel is definitely old and gives an antique look. Room was spacious and comfortable. There was microwave , and cutlery available which is very convenient if you are staying with a kid. Room was old but very clean. Bathroom was spacious and well lit. Complementary breakfast was basic. They provide coffee , tea, yogurt, fresh fruits etc, which I found is still better than sone of the hotels which do not provide anything and charge you a fortune . The location of the hotel is close to union square but the street beside the hotel was not safe . We were made aware of the same by the person at the reception. They told us to avoid that street. Our overall stay was good .

We had another wonderful stay at Beresford Arms this weekend. It has an old world charm, with a beautiful lobby. The hotel rooms are quite large and very comfortable. There is wine and cheese in the lobby in the early evening, and a nice continental breakfast in the morning. The front desk employee Ms. Sami was so gracious and helpful, and helped make our stay very enjoyable.

A great hotel, older but very clean, the staff were very nice and helpful. Close to stores, trolley, China Town, plenty of places to eat. Would stay at Beresford Arms again.

This hotel is an incredible value for the price. For an older building, it has a surprisingly charming and atmospheric feel. Compared to other hotels in the area, the rates are quite reasonable. Valet parking is $45, but keep in mind that it can take about 20–30 minutes for your car to be brought around. They offer a simple complimentary breakfast in the morning, and from 4–6 p.m. you can enjoy free wine and cheese, which is a nice touch. The bathroom also has a bidet—something you don’t often find in hotels here—so that was a great bonus.

Location was great. Three blocks from Union Square (Macys, Neiman Marcus, Shopping, Fun) and right around the corner from Nob Bill. Free wine and cheese from 430-6 and they have continental breakfast in the Morning. Hotel itself is charming and well kept. Will stay here again!!!
