Belmont Motel

This hotel is my favorite in the area for a lot of reasons but they are family run and the people that own it have beautiful spirits and work very hard to keep up this place. When I walked into my room my very first night it smelled like bleach and just was CLEAN. I have not had a lot of good experiences with hotels and this place has never let me down. I also have not seen any bugs my whole stay here and that’s hard to pull off in any hotel they are doing a great job on your pest control if you can say that. I would rather skip the chain hotels and stay here any day just to support this hard working family! Support small businesses and come to the Belmont!! Best value snd best customer service ever!! Ive lived here when I had no where else to go plus I've stayed here in order to just get away or to have faster access to the bus when I needed to be some where extra early. It's not fancy nor do you pay for fancy. Its a bed to sleep in and quiet at night. People want to pay next to nothing but expect high priced accommodation. The lady that cleans it has always been respectful to me and has always helped me out. The people that run it might not speak English all that well but if you treat them with respect they will treat you with respect. As far as neighborhood, it's next to a police station so you can easily go in there and talk to an officer if something doesn't feel right. Make yourself a favor and don't go there. The room had a strong smell of cold cigarette that never faded, the linens were absolutely gross, I really doubt they had been changed at any point, they smelled bad, had holes in them and the pillows were yellowish.. the owners barely spoke English, the woman didn't know how to use the credit card machine so we had to pay cash but they still disappeared with our card for like five minutes, that was weird. This place really doesn't not worth a tenth of the $60 we paid for it.

Even though th rooms are quite small, the motel it self is quite great! I'm rating it 4/5 because they could fix some stuff, like more than one toilet roll in the bathroom or a bigger fridge or a more detailed phone. That's all for now

If you value a clean room, I would not come here. I am moving and needed a cheap place. Well it's not cheap 175 for 3 nights. This Motel should not be open. Dried vomit, toliet not cleaned. Linen looks dirty, don't use. Just a awful place.
