A fabulous location and beautiful boutique hotel with a vibrant atmosphere. Close to many nice shops, antique stores, restaurants and within sight of the Boston Commons. The bar always had a lively crowd and the restaurant was fabulous! Rooms were not large, but more than adequate and charming with lots of light. Clean, modern and nicely decorated. Staff was very polite, helpful and cheerful. Highly recommended, would stay again.

Located right downtown within walking distance to the park. No parking on site. Parking garage was a few blocks away. No loading or unloading area by the hotel, have to haul luggage through park and down sidewalk to hotel. Hotel check in located in the restaurant/bar area. Room was small but clean. Bed was very comfortable. Air conditioner stopped working in the middle of the night making sleeping difficult. No staff at front desk after 11 pm. Elevator stopped working during our stay. There is roof top seating area which looked small and cozy, we did not utilize due to only staying one night. Breakfast and coffee served in bar area consisted of pastries and fruit. In my opinion the hotel is overpriced but you’re paying for the location. You could stay somewhere cheaper and uber for the co

We stayed here for two nights. The location is beautiful and close to many great restaurants, which is a big plus. However, I don’t think we’d stay again. This isn’t a full-service hotel, so if you need help with bags or try to reach the front desk, responses can be slow. The check-in area also serves as the hostess stand for the bistro downstairs, which makes things a bit hectic. The hot water in the shower only lasted about 10 seconds before turning cold, and the walls are quite thin. On the bright side, the staff is friendly. Breakfast is complimentary but minimal- coffee, tea, and a few baked goods. For a full breakfast, I’d recommend one of the nearby restaurants. If you’re visiting for the photos or want to explore Beacon Hill, this place is fine for that. But if you’re looking f

I did not stay here. I hung out at the bar while my friends shopped. Bar is great. Chill, cool but not pretentious. You'd never know the hustle n bustle of Charles Street. Molly the bartender is excellent!

It was a nice, quaint little spot, but a couple things. First, I was charged $450 incidental fee for a room that cost me $350... yes, that was $450 on top of the $350, so basically they held half a grand that I would've much rather spent on shopping in the area. We were not told that it would be that much, we found out rather inconveniently. I asked the front desk about the hold but I was not really given an answer, other than "sometimes that happens" and "using a third party site to book will do that". (Btw, my wife and I travelled to several different hotels in the past week, including a week in the presidential suite in one of Boston's most prestigious hotels; none of them required more than $100/night in holds and explicitly said so before charging us, so I am very bothered by this s
