We had a beautiful room with a view of the wharf which was great. Price was reasonable for the view and location. Only marked down because issue with our car and valet and it took a moment to find it lol. Other than that we enjoyed the bar as well.
Positive: Location. Cleanliness. Negative: We paid extra for a water view. We had a view of a tree. Coffee machine leaked. Bathroom had 2 doors, 1 wouldn’t close. Bathroom fan didn’t work. $--- per night for local fee, for what. Shocking.
Battery Wharf was not what I expected. When you view the hotel from the pictures you expect that your gonna get a good view of the water or even of the surrounding area. We asked for a room on a higher floor when we got there. The guy at the counter said that's not gonna be possible. We got the first floor. The guy did not seem to be happy and it was a bad start. The rest of the staff was great though. Our room was over looking the docks. But you could not really see anything because there were bushes blocking our view of anything. I would cut those bushes down so the guests could see out th windows. Overall other then that the rooms were decent. Liked the location as it was closed to most of the things we wanted to go to and see. All within short walking distance.
⭐️⭐️||There was a large group of us staying here for New Year’s Eve — 8 rooms total — and unfortunately the experience did not match the price point or expectations.||The location is a major plus: walking distance to TD Garden and Faneuil Hall. The atmosphere was nice, the hotel was very clean, and noise levels were perfectly fine, especially considering how busy NYE is in the city.||That said, about 25% of our rooms had significant issues, which is unacceptable given we were paying $400+ per night.||One room was locked out for over an hour and a half. Even with the help of the hotel engineer, they couldn’t get the door open right away. Those guests literally spent the actual ball drop stuck in the hallway. I booked a 2 night stay here earlier in the month for a two queen premier water view. While traveling to get there, I got caught in snow the day of my check in and wouldn't safely be able to make it. I called the hotel and asked if I could modify my reservation to cancel one of the days. They said it was too late and that I would still be charged for the entire two days. I was fine with that since they were correct on that. The reservation person asked me when I would be there the next day and I said it would be in the evening. When I arrived the next day, my expectation was that I was going to get my room I paid for.
