Barristers Row

We booked a room at Barrister's Row primarily because of the location, the price and because it had a refrigerator! Everything is done electronically so there is no staff. It is a row of about 7 rooms, located in the heart of Staunton, close to everything! We loved staying here! Our room was spacious and comfortable with a large bathroom and walk in shower. There were plates, glasses, silverware, microwave, refrigerator and even a toaster! This room made our stay extremely comfortable and I will definitely stay here again, or at any of their other properties! My only complaint is that there needs to be a small motion activated light outside of the door so that the keypad lock is easier to see at night.

Holy cow this place is amazing, probably the best hotel I've ever stayed in. The location, the rooms themselves, and the materials within are all spectacular. The towels, bathrobes, sheets, and pillow cases are all right up there with the best I've had. The pillows were really soft, the blankets were excellent, and the AC worked great. ||The room was super clean, had brand new LG washer and dryer with detergent provided, and was full of everything I could have needed (aside from disinfecting wipes, but that's not common and I got some elsewhere). There were amazing restaurants and shops literally seconds away (Queen City Bistro was a 10/10 dinner, The Split Banana ice cream shop was equally spectacular). Our experience was soured by misleading and deceptive practice of hiding a $75 plus tax towel fee from the total. Although “what you see is what you pay” was stated it was far from the truth. Beautiful property in great location.

I had a great stay here. It felt like my exact preferences had been anticipated, details like the sound machine and the type of pillows and the USB charging ports being in the first place I expected them to be. This is definitely not your average hotel stay, everything was so elevated and elegant and clean that I felt especially relaxed. I slept very well. It’s also in walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and theaters, super convenient.

Location, location, location enhanced with beautiful style and comfort. This stay was perfect - from its convenient location right in the heart of Staunton to the comfy bedding and towels. A true gem that we will stay at again and recommend to family and friends.
