This site is easily accessible at under three miles from the Deep Creek Trailhead. Not a whole lot of elevation gain so almost anyone could hike to it. A large backcountry site with a 20 person capacity. Three of four separate areas to camp and all of them right beside beautiful Deep Creek! We were the only people camping this night and it was perfect. Definitely one of our favorite campsites in the backcountry yet. Be sure to get your backcountry permit and parking tag.

Fantastic site. Has three separate areas with their own fire pits and their own access to the river. Saw a pair of dear walk right through the site at dusk. It is an easy hike to this site. Only the very last part is a trail, the rest is a relatively flat and wide carriageway.

This backcountry campsite is a hidden gem, right around three miles from the Deep Creek Trailhead. The hike is easy, with very little elevation gain, making it accessible for most people. The site is big and offers multiple separate camping areas and direct access to Deep Creek, which is great for fishing! The trail leading in is mostly a flat, wide path, with only a short section of actual trail near the end. There’s no cell service, which makes it a great place to unplug and enjoy the surroundings. You will be parking at Deep Creek so make sure you have a parking tag and your backcountry permit. Very nice easy to access campsite!

This was a great camping spot. Easy trail to the camp site. People like to fish in the creek, near the sites. No cell service though, witch is a good thing for me. Easy access to water.

Well maintained backcountry camp site with no services. Water must be filtered from the creek.
