Went for a family day, kids had a blast, it wasn't perfect for adults but lowering expectations made this place enough, ice skating, Unlimited tubing, it b was perfect for the kids, they didn't notice small things adults would, like how uncomfortable ice skates are, the staff were very respectful, I read reviews before I went and after going all those negative reviews are just people with overwhelming expectations of grandeur, this place gave me and my family a fun filled time, no pressure to do anything, sure it was a little muddy, but thats what happens when snow starts to melt, the ice skating rink could've used a prime, but this place is dealing with a few thousand people per day. The kids had a blast, and other places give you a few hour window, for the same price. We'll worth the tri

My husband and I chose AvalancheXpress for a short getaway. Overall, our experience was very positive. The tubing was an absolute blast and brought lots of laughs and smiles. The restaurant was perfect, and the food and hot cocoa were excellent. Most of the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. However, we did have a disappointing experience at the hotel bar on the night we arrived. There were no visible signs stating “No Outside Drinks.” When we sat down, the bartender sternly told my husband to give him his energy drink my husband had purchased earlier. My husband finished the drink and respectfully handed it to him. The bartender became upset and accused him of being disrespectful, stating that my husband “slammed it in his face,” which was not the case. Despite us calmly

Do NOT under any circumstance take your kids here! This place was a disappointment to say the least, the manager was incredibly rude and disingenuous. After trying to talk to him and asking why a group of 300 people were allowed in with us and some other small groups, he said he would be right back to talk to us as he had to go "handle something". we saw him walk across the golf course to the houses behind the hill and never came back. As for the hill itself, the runs were in less than favorable condition as they were covered with mud, pictured below. We only did 2 and immediately left. In total from lunch and passes for my 2 kids and myself it was $200, total waste. On top of all this, one of their employees who looked to be at least over the age of 18 said over their walkie talkies that

Not totally sure why this place gets so much hate. On a cold day, this is a solid outing. The setup: There are about 3 snow tubing lanes (maybe more, hard to tell) and 6 ice slide lanes. There’s also a small ice skating rink, with skates included, which was a nice bonus. There’s a covered picnic area with couches, concessions, and clean bathrooms. There’s also an arcade, though we didn’t check it out. Arrival + logistics: When we arrived, an employee noticed me trying to take a family photo and offered to take it, which was a great first impression. We headed to the line and took the lift once, but after that we just walked up. It takes about the same amount of time either way. The main downside is the lift and corral area. It services all lanes and tubing, so after a while the waitin

Awful experience. We spent $151 for 4 of us to go tubing for 2 hours. We ended up only going down the hill twice (the second time was only because we had friends who came to watch and take pics for us). My 5 year old daughter was drenched in muddy water. Nobody was attempting to fix the issue or even told us it would happen. I reached out 2 days later expressing how disappointed we were with our experience and nobody responded (it’s been 20 days since I reached out). We will not be returning and hope others realize how expensive it is for a terrible experience.
