Aspen Select Hotel

The hotel suite was amazing. Directly across the road from St.Marys hospital. Everyone at hotel was pleasant. For extended stay they even prepared a light dinner for guests. Breakfast was also provided. Shuttle service provided door to door sevice to hospital and clinic. If we need to return to Mayo or St. Mary's we will be staying at the Aspen Suites.

Absolutely impressed with Aspen Suites Hotel. The employees were friendly, helpful with hotel reservations and extras, helpful with information about parking and St. Mary's Hospital. Huge, clean rooms/suites, very quiet. Very comfortable beds and pillows. The only issue was the difficulty controlling the thermostat.

Won't be staying again. Rooms need a serious deep cleaning or just an overall remodel. Very dingy, dirty vibe. Breakfast was very lackluster and offered the bare minimum. There was a pipe break during our stay which created an incredibly Icy parking lot. I did slip, but thankfully the scattered cigarette butts in the parking lot caught my sliding shoe to stop my fall. We had a service dog, which we were charged extra. The desk clerk asked why we needed our dog. I was under the impression the ADA made that against the law. My partner didn't want to deal with the clerk, so he went with it. Carpet stains in the hallway, filthy lobby windows and doors, and the elevator needed a good scrub. We wouldn't have stayed, but we didn't want to forfeit the price of the night's stay since it

Positive: Location was nice Negative: The furniture was beat up and old, the room had a horrible smell, it was awkward to have the hallway wall being 100% windows. The breakfast area was bad. Was not a good stay. Checked out after the first night and won?t be back.

It suited what we needed as my husband had a heart attack and we needed a place close to hospital. The two complaints were: we went for breakfast right before opened. There was no milk. Normally wouldn't be an issue except there is only cereol and toast type options and. A few sweets so milk is kind of important in order to enjoy the breakfast. The second was that the one door doesn't get unlocked until 930 yet has no posting stating such but worker seemed to think should have known that. Hotel was clean and workers for most part were kind. Was quiet so we were able to rest when we were able while husband was resting.
