Good place to lay your head down on a comfortable bed and get good restful nights of sleep 🥱😴
I actually enjoyed my stay here. Came here to save some money and was happy with the room and bed we had. It is a simple layout, with a comfortable bed and bedding that made me want to never leave the sheets. The room also had 1 big window that kept the room well lit during the day. Also includes a TV, sink and mini fridge which is convenient to have. The shared bathrooms were not the best conditions but overall SAFE and comfortable to use. There were no "shady" people within the building and actually very quiet at night. The BAD thing I would have to say is definitely the area. If you can manage to deal with the crazy amount of homeless people on the sidewalks and the sounds of a troubled soul at night from a distance, this place is for you. My partner and I took a 10 minute walk to a ve
Yes it's in an unsavory neighborhood. However being a Male Solo traveler that was not a concern as i've seen urban poverty before so it's not a shock to me being a Los Angeles Native.||||My primary concern was the homeless being inside the hotel as many hotels serve as SRO tenements (welfare hotel). ||||Which it is not, there is always someone in front to buzz you in and the rooms are clean. My main issue was the bright street lights that shine through the window slats. They should probably invest in black out curtains.||||So if you're you're looking for a budget hotel (in a city full of super expensive hotels) and not bothered by walking by homeless people go for it.
Nice place for the cheap price. You get what you pay for. Spring for the room with the private bathroom as the shared bathroom was always nasty morning and night. Lots of homeless on the street outside but that is expected in the Tenderloin area. They never bothered us during the day or night. Staff was super nice and friendly. We walked everywhere so it is close to all the attractions.
Compared to many of the other hotels in the area this is very good value. The room comes with a mini fridge, with TV and a sink. For toilets or bathrooms you're going to have to go out into the hallway. in either case if you just staying here for a short time this is no big deal at all as you're not spending much time in the room and the beds are comfortable with plenty of outlets. Issues I had where that the front desk was often unstaffed and the area really is quite rampage with homelessness and drug use. It's only for a couple blocks though so if you can bear with it then you should be fine. There's a police station right behind the hotel just in case.
