Anthony's On the Beach

When my mother and I arrived, the room was clean and well maintained; however, the room had the overwhelming smell of cleaning product in it. The “contactless check in” was a bit jarring and did feel like a scam, but it does work. They just give you the pin to one of those smart deadbolts. I am hoping they change it after each reservation. The hotel was quiet on a wednesday night and the beach is literally a thousand feet away. It was lovely, being able to walk out and watch the sunset and take a walk in the sand. Honestly it’s miles cheaper than anything else on the beach, but to an extent, you get what you pay for. Also, the “new” guest wi fi is weak. The “old” guest wifi is significantly faster.

I have always wanted to stay on the beach and watch the sunrise. This place is certainly affordable but very low key. It seemed like there were a lot of recent remodeling. Our room, while small, was very clean, attractive, and comfortable. We walked right out to the beach and could hear the waves all night. Chairs are provided, lots of lounging places around the hotel. Chairs and swings on the beach. An upper deck to view the ocean. We would come again. Beach is quiet and much more private than the public parks.

Positive: Great location Negative: Think Motel 6 but a GREAT LOCATION. Heat aid air unit was either freezing or HOT. I never could get it adjusted.Toilet leaked with every flush.Floor corners and around baseboards were filthy.The bed squeaked with every move.Room had a musty smell.

Anthony’s was very clean, Leon was wonderful in making sure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The view was absolutely amazing. There are multiple seating areas and tanning areas. I highly recommend! If I could give 10 stars I would.

My wife and I was on our way to the port for a cruise but could have stay in the motel for the entire time and been perfectly ok with that. Besides the room being a bit small the stay was amazing. Wasn't expecting location to the beach, the comfort decks, patios, swings amd views for that price. With minimal beach traffic probably due the tropical season at the time of my visit. All in all it was very quiet and relaxing. Planning on going back just to visit Coca Beach and its vice city type vibes.
