Ann Arbor Regent Hotel & Suites

We stay at The Regent quite often as we have multiple appointments at University Hospital. It’s one of the few hotels in the area to provide free shuttle service. Everything is meticulously clean from lobby to rooms to the shuttle. Staff is very responsive and helpful. The manager is excellent. We have had him drive the shuttle himself and have gotten to know him quite well. Recently we did have an issue that he resolved. He didn’t have to, the mistake was ours. We certainly appreciated his response.

I very much enjoyed my stay here. The location is great, close to the freeway, UofM, and other local attractions. The rooms were exactly as advertised. I got a king with a jetted tub and found it clean and relaxing. Most of the hotel matched the website photos. Customer service was friendly and helpful. The indoor pool and jacuzzi were clean and enjoyable. The billiard/ game area was also nice. The gym was small and could probably use an equipment upgrade, but for a couple days it served its purpose. Plenty of breakfast options, I eat a keto diet and was still able to enjoy eggs and sausage with my coffee. The only thing I would change is adding exhaust fans to the bathrooms. After a bath bath or shower it'd be nice to be able to use the mirror in the bathroom right away. Everything else w

Positive: The room was ready when I arrived.Housekeeping staff was very friendly. Negative: The carpets could be cleaned in the hotel both in the hallways and in the room.Did not receive a copy of my folio. No one was at the desk when I checked out.I didn't get to eat breakfast because there was such a long line and I had a schedule to keep.

My wife and I were in town on business, and booked a garden tub room for the weekend, so we could soak and relax after our long days. When we went to use the tub for the first time late Friday night, it didn't work. The mechanical plug for the drain would not seat correctly, so it could not fill as intended. No big deal, I'll talk to the desk in the morning, and we'll get something figured out. When I went to talk to the front desk in the morning, he was as nice as could be. Honestly, he was great all weekend, I have no complaints with the person actually working the front desk. He was so kind and understanding. We went over options. 1) have maintenance come to the room and look at the issue sometime during the day. 2) could take a percentage off the cost for the inconvenience. Since w

A very clean and lovely hotel. If I'm ever in Ann Arbor again, this is where I'll stay. Wonderful pool and jacuzzi area, a game room suitable for the adults and older kids, a hot breakfast in the morning. A lot of people were staying here with kids on the weekend (myself included), so I suggest that adults looking for peace and quiet in the pool/jacuzzi area wait until a few hours after check-in, after the little ones have left the area (just my observations from a Saturday night). A great hotel with something to offer for everyone.
