Americas Best Value Inn Visalia

Great décor of room and bathroom. New hallway with nice color combination and very clean no smell in room and hotel. Beds are new and very comfortable. I sleep like a baby. Safe and secure. Staff is great helpful and knowledgeable. Defiantly number one hotel of my choice. Very happy with service. Well lit parking lot. Defiantly will stay again.

RUN!! Do not book here. Absolutely disgusting rooms, smell very bad and very dirty all the way around. I IMMEDIATELY LEFT!! Just look at the photos I posted! The person at the front desk is very unintelligent and seems to know nothing about the hotel policies. Sad that this used to be a great hotel when it was the Best Western used to get drunk downtown and have a good time here. But now DO NOT BOOK HERE!

The entire stay was super uncomfortable. To begin the parking spaces were horrible! there wasn't enough room between cars for passengers to get out. The second floor corridor felt as if it were about to crumble to the ground. I was hoping the interior wasn't as bad. We were told that for one of the rooms the restroom door was to remain closed at all times, and didn't receive a reasoning behind it. At first glance the rooms didn't seem so bad, until we noticed a weird smell in one and utterly dirty walls in the next. The whole structure of the building felt paper thin. We were able to hear snoring and footsteps from one room to the next. The most disgusting part of this experience was not being able to shower considering there was cockroaches in both bathrooms! I didn’t really stay here. I booked it and the minute I drove in, I was concerned. There were cigarette butts everywhere in the parking lot. There was a homeless couple arguing as I was checking in. The room its self was dirty and stinky and I left immediately. They would not refund my money. It’s a disgusting place. I find it hard to believe that I paid $125 for this room and when I left I went to the comfort inn and paid 150 and I’m so much more comfortable.
