Fairfield Inn Visalia Sequoia

Came out here from Topeka Kansas and made reservations here. This place had such great staff super sweet and Caring. They greeted me from the start and to the end of Check out. The place was clean and beautiful with a great view in our room. I had a wonderful stay here. And will continue to from the future on. This place accommodated with all the simple things I needed. Really a great place and great price. Again wonderful staff and employees. I was so comfortable from the start and the beds are plush and amazing. They’re actual beauty rest beds

This hotel (motel?) is awful! I don't know why it is included in Marriott's chain of hotels. We had to stay in Visalia for 2 nights but I wish I could have checked out after the first night. ||The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I have no issues with the staff. ||As soon as we walked in, we noticed the room had a strong hospital smell. The room was very dark and had horrible fluorescent lighting in all of the lamps. There was a red stain on the carpet between the beds that looked like blood. The bathroom didn't have a soap dish on the counter for the soap. We had to leave the soap on the wrapper on the counter. Our stay at the Visalia Fairfield by Marriott was extremely upsetting due to how we were treated by staff and management. While our children were sleeping, staff and management persistently knocked on our door for a "room scan" despite being clearly told that we had sleeping children and asking them to stop. Instead of respecting this, they continued and told us they would force their way into the room if we did not comply. This felt intimidating, inappropriate, and completely unacceptable—especially for a family hotel. We felt disrespected and unsafe. The situation was handled in a hostile and unprofessional manner, and it caused unnecessary stress for our family. My husband is a previous Marriott employee. The hotel was very modern and we were advised that they had gone thru an extensive remodel which they did an amazing job of completing. The staff were friendly and answered all of our questions during our stay. The rooms were very nice and the bathrooms had lots of room to get ready for our event. Nice snack bar downstairs that allowed us to buy some drinks to put in the mini fridge in the room in case we got thirsty after hours. The beds were super comfortable, the linens were soft and the wifi seemed to work ok. Not the fastest but I have had much slower in other hotels. The breakfast was pretty basic but they did have lots of choices and the food was really good and the dining area was kept clean. My first here and stayed for one night and was a great place to stay at. Great service when checking out and also great breakfast. Not like a full breakfast but basics like waffles, egg, sausage, oatmeal, fruit, drinks. Everything great definitely recommend the oatmeal there is toppings obviously if they serve that again. EVERYTHING CLEAN!
