La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Visalia/Sequoia Gateway

I stayed at this hotel in Feb while visiting sequoia and Overall, the experience was just ok. Breakfast options were very limited, but considering the low price of the hotel, this is understandable. They have the slowest elevator on earth, it takes 5 mins to reach to third floor. The sound insulation was very poor. We stayed on the third floor and could clearly hear noise from the next room. The room key card was horrible, hardly works. The jacuzzi and pool were fine and they have a gym for name sake. The only positive about the hotel is, it’s in a good spot to grab food, subway, Taco Bell, del taco, Caesar’s pizza, and many more. This hotel is only for the guest who wants a cheaper hotel. The room service person was very kind and nice.👍

A very nice and quiet stay. The employees were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a good central location. Breakfast was good and filling This is our 2nd trip back to this hotel. Anytime we travel up to northern California this will be our midway stop.

Positive: Who deaf/hard hearing have to request light flash for fire alarm. Other day I don’t know it was fire alarm because I can’t hear if something happens to me then we can sue your hotel. Please fix it Negative: Nothing wrong but only fire alarm need to light flash warn deaf/hard hearing can see light

Rooms were nice when we were on the first floor. Our 2nd floor room during our second stay had carpet. Which at first had a weird smell but it went away. Everything else was great. Room size, service excellent, breakfast buffet nice. Along with the location so close to Everything. Hopefully next time we are in the area they figure out the carpets.

I stayed at this hotel in December. Overall, the experience was disappointing. As soon as you step out of the room, there was a strong unpleasant smell in the hallway, similar to a sewer odor. The elevator also had a heavy cigarette smoke smell. Breakfast options were very limited, but considering the low price of the hotel, this is understandable. The sound insulation was very poor. In addition, the front desk service was minimal.
