Breakfast at the Visalia Marriott was absolutely delicious, but what truly made the experience unforgettable was Gloria. She runs that dining room like it is her own beautiful kitchen, warm, welcoming, and perfectly organized. Gloria celebrated my mom’s birthday so thoughtfully and made us feel incredibly special. Kind, attentive, and clearly the boss of the room in the best way. A wonderful way to start the morning.

The Marriott Visalia is the only full service hotel in the downtown area. It is near the convention center. It has room for banquets, weddings and special events. When we were here, 3 Christmas parties were in full swing with music, food and many attendees. While this Marriott does not have an executive/concierge lounge, it does offer a breakfast buffet for all guests. Appropriately, Marriott loyalty guests to get the perk of a free full breakfast for two if you are gold level or above. Parking fees are waived, and the Internet is free. The staff at check in and check out were Cordial/friendly and efficient and quick. No issues with check in or check out. The same can be said about the restaurant staff. They were also cordial/friendly and efficient. Our drink cups were always filled to the

Yesterday, Tuesday, November 4, 2025 I checked out of the Visalia Marriott at the Convention Center. This was my 2nd stay in this place. At check-in, the young man who helped me introduced me to their buffet-style breakfast. He said it was served from 6 to 11 a.m. and that it had a cost of 23 dollars.||||Yesterday morning at around 7 a.m., I decided to give it a try. There were 2 people with me in the elevator, they both had their luggage with them as if they were getting ready to check-out. I went to the front desk to inquire about the location of the breakfast buffet. By the time I made it to where the setup was, the two people that were with me in the elevator were ahead of me in the line. They moved on to check out the different servings and I stayed by the fresh fruit serving me a pla

Not a bad hotel by Marriott, looking at they are located in a small place. Size of room is ok, no eater provide, breakfast sucks. So didn’t try. Car park charge $10 per day. I park 2 night, supposed to pay $20, they ask for total deposit $25. And will refund $5 to me, but until now nothing is back. No grocery or convenience store nearby, so need to buy somewhere and bring back. Overall not fussy for 1-2 nights I think it’s ok

When I arrived I noticed the "cheap" feeling of the room furniture. It was a nice room, but it felt cheap and dirty. Not the biggest deal. The thing that really got me was the blankets, these things are disgusting. The blanket inside the 'duvet' (not at all a duvet, just a bed sheet that roughly envelops the blanket) was disgusting. It had red blotches inside that were super apparent when held up to the light. I went downstairs to try and get my issue resolved and the staff was very understanding and tried to be helpful but it was 10 pm and they practically brought up any semblance of blankets for us to use until tomorrow. I believe this all comes down to penny pinching management. The bed sheets are the most important thing a hotel offers their guests. Then bring this old and disgusting i
