Motel 6 Visalia, CA

I recently stayed at Motel 6 in Visalia. The beds were good and comfortable, and I was able to get some decent rest. However, the restroom was very disappointing. It had a strong bad smell, and it didn’t feel clean. This really affected my overall stay. If they can fix the restroom smell and improve the cleanliness in the bathrooms, it would be a much better place to stay.

Positive: "" Negative: As a Guest they made me sign the receipt for the room without me telling me theres a mandatory room clean. If I refuse it they will keep my deposit and kick the guest out. The manager is not the right person for the jobShe kept picking a fight with guest.

Stay was fine til we checked out 11/08/24 @ 7:50 am and the woman working the front desk went to check the room for my cash deposit. Nothing was wrong with the room itself but apparently we "stained" their towel black. We only used the towels to dry our bodies and their bathroom floor, so it was dirt from that. Simply put it in the wash and its gone.| Well she deducted $5 from my deposit for "damages" to the room and when asked where in the policy does it show I can't use towels on the floor she can only point to the reservation policy mentioning nothing of towel use. Absolutely ridiculous.

We put down a 60.00 cash deposit. We actually took out garbage, made bed and cleaned up before we checked out. She went and checked room and said it smells like smoke. I told her impossible we don’t smoke. She said it not getting deposit back. What a scam she probably kept out 60.00 . Plus room had super small table ( no where to put anything) bathroom had small vanity, I had to put curling iron on floor. The closet was open ) no door) only 3 hangers and very noisy in surrounding rooms. Do Not Recommend!!!!

The freeway noise is moderate. The room above us had people jumping moving furniture and pounding all night. . I had to call office the phone in room didn’t work. Took a shower but shower head was broken. This motel is very generic no coffee maker or blow dryer in room but rooms are fairly clean . Bed and pillows are not the most comfortable
