Americas Best Value Inn Livonia Detroit

I had flight issues with Delta and they put us up in this hotel as a courtesy. We we're very sketched out about this place from the moment we entered the parking lot. First off, what type of place has a sign that says "No Refund after 10 min. of check-in"? With the smell and condition of room I think it has been months if not years since it was cleaned. There are no lights outside the rooms so we had to use our cell phones to find the room number. Once we did find it, went inside and the door didn't want to shut or lock but I finally did get it to shut and lock. When we went in the TV was already on as well. First room they gave me wasn’t made, and there was trash and cigarettes all over the place. They gave me another room that had blood on the lights trash behind the bedframe and all the furniture were ancient. They were bugs and they were cops driving around the facility and it’s right next to a nightclub so I did not feel safe at all. I do not recommend this. Don’t waste your money on this place. The service is also terrible. They would not give me a refund even though I paid two nights in advance and I wanted to get my refund 15 minutes after checking out the room

Positive: Heat work well Negative: Bathroom doors not working, the room was very dirty. Bath tub was not cleaned. No bathroom tissue too use. Soap was made for a kid. This hotel needs a major fine, to many things out dated

Absolutely “HORRIBLE”. Avoid at all costs. I booked a king-size room a week in advance on Expedia, but when I arrived around 6:30 PM, the front desk receptionist rudely told me they don’t hold rooms and that I “should have called in the morning.” That’s unacceptable and a complete scam. It was cold outside, and I had booked the room for my family. The receptionist refused to honor my confirmed booking. He dumped me into a dirty, low-quality queen room instead. The room was filthy, unhygienic, and disgusting — this place should not even be operating as a hotel. Expedia tried to contact the property, but the staff refused to cooperate and denied a refund. America's Best Value Inn 28512 Schoolcraft Rd, Livonia, MI 48150 Well, we can't talk about the rooms, but we can talk about the customer service. First, the guy working at 10pm on Friday November 7/25 was the rudest and most disrespectful person ever. My wife tried to check us in, only to have this jerk say he canceled our room at 8pm and that there were no rooms left unless we took a jacuzzi room for an extra $50. He definitely lied about that because the place was nearly empty. Then I went in with my toddler to ask to use a restroom while my wife was on the phone with Expedia, and had to listen to him be extremely rude on the phone to the rep from Expedia about our booking while waiting to as to use a restroom. Needless to say, she had to pee in the parking lot. Worst experience ever. St
