America's Best Inn Wilmington

There's a fantastic, like, REALLY FANTASTIC, VIETNAMESE-THAI restaurant directly across the street. Service at Azalea Inn & Suites is something that requires patience, nearly intermittent. If you've done the worldwide travel, then it's probably right up your alley. I have to say, though, that the cleanliness of the grounds and at least my room is impressive. ABSOLUTELY the worst programming options AND ease of use television situation I have ever seen on this continent. I can expand on that; The remote will NOT change the channel without push-button entering the channel directly on the remote. The television's ACTUAL up & down channel button, ON THE SIDE OF THE TV, will also NOT change the channel at all. This is quite annoying, as you MUST remember this(10-1)in order to see the brief guid

Dirty, seems like 10yrs of dust. Stale musty smoke smelling rooms. Towels don't look or feel washed. Watched housekeeper, she didn't change bedding of rooms she vacuumed. Owners are very rife and argumentative. They don't allow late check out, yet 1 of the most expensive cheap hotels in the city. Cost $120 for the night, no fee breakfast no late checkout. Seems it has never been remodeled with the 70s style pink n blue bathrooms. Shower head too low.

This is the worst hotel experience I have ever had. My husband and I stayed over Memorial Day weekend,and could not find another room available. After reading previous reviews, we should have heeded them.|Room was beyond dirty. Hair on supposedly clean sheets. Towels stained and like sandpaper. Tub did not drain. TV had no volume. Refrigerator had standing water that poured out when we opened it. Breakfast was sorry...loaves of open bread, stale danish. Had to ask for juice.|Stay away at all cost. You would be better off to steep your car.

Disgusting. First step into the room and we found 5 roaches. 2 in the room, 2 in the entrance of the bathroom and 1 in the bathtub. We went immediately to the front desk to asked for a refund and they offered us another room that supposed to be clean. We opened the room and... more roaches climbing the walls. Back to the front office to asked for full refund. The lady in the front desk (Louise) was very unpleasant to talk with. Really rude and careless. A place not to even stop by!

You get what you pay for. Staff is extremely friendly. Rooms are very spacious. There are some minuses to it though. It is made for short people. Maybe 5ft tall. AC is not the best for someone who has hot flashes or just got in general. Be is very hard. If you like firm beds you will definitely get it. Towels are rough. Little bit of a smell but goes away after you've had AC on for a bit. Husband was very disappointed that there was no vending machines. It is clean, lots of room, and great water pressure.
