America's Best Inn

Didn't even stay there a night. Went and paid for the room. When we finally got to the room we left. There were bugs all over the place. Even in the bathroom there were bugs crawling everywhere. We checked the beds and 5 cockroaches tried to run away. There were also bed bugs as well. Luckily we caught a cockroach, and brought it down to the front desk. The hallways smelt like drugs, and there were a lot of problems. I would not stay here period!

Horrible service. Just called to book for tomorrow as stated while the lady was on the phone on speaker with my husband as she informed us to call back after 11:30a. She now is stating I would have to call back on the day of to see if any are available. Traveling from Washington DC this is HORRIBLE customer service. Renovation is currently on going and most of the time they do not pick up at front desk. Called 20 times and finally got through after 18 minutes just to be turned away. DO NOT BOOK HERE! Cockroaches are still in hotels and they charge for breakfast that only consists of stale cereal and bread. MY MONEY WILL BE USED SOMEWHERE ELSE. Bugs giant cockroaches. I have stayed at hotels in the worst part of Mexico. Budget Inn just terrible. This hotel needs to be condemned and torn down. They will never get rid of the bug infestation. It should cost at most 20$ A night. That's fair for the condition and filth you have to endure. Maybe if you had no other place to go. This would be A last resort. Your better off staying under A bridge. 1

Horrible experience. Stayed there twice. Once in 2009... again in 2012. Same story different year. Bed Bugs. Both times the staff had the audacity to accuse me of bringing the critters there with me, despite the fact that they've dealt with this issue many times before. Just found that several individuals have recently suffered this experience there. So I called the front desk and asked the very unprofessional employee why they hadn't remedied the infestation. I was told, "bed bugs are a common hotel problem. We take care of it as soon as there's a problem. We even allow our customers to switch rooms... but no refunds".......... Bottom line, this place needs to be shut down. No one should pay their hard earned money to be ate up by bugs day and night.

I stayed here a lot of times and they have really cleaned the place up. I did not have bed bugs or see any prostitutes or anything of the sort. Its cheap right of the highway and comfy and peaceful and they even have coffee and breakfast in the morning.
