Ac Hotel Ink Block

Mistakenly got charged for parking post visit - I flew into Boston and took an Uber to the hotel. Called post-visit about the charge. Hotel said they made a mistake and that I would see a credit to my card to balance the parking charge. Never happened. Otherwise a decent stay.

Not a fancy hotel. No pool. Small but clean workout room. Great for quick workout.very clean rooms. Great showers Rooms have very comfortable beds. Good pillows. Location was excellent: 15-30 mins from airport Depending on time of day. Short walk to mass transit ( bus 2 blocks. Orange line 12 min walk) easycwalk to Chinatown and theaters. Short walk to SoWa . Nextdoor to whole foods. Restaurant for breakfast. Lounge open in evening. All day coffee in lobby . Friendly staff . My goto hotel .

People tend to remember when things go wrong. Our stay this time was not as pleasant as our last. The front desk staff was not as warm this time we stayed here. The woman that checked us out was talking with a coworker in the lobby and looked at us standing at the counter and asked "do you need me?". It was off-putting. The room wouldn't stay warm. Once the heat kicked off, the room would get cold. There was a tub in our room, not a walk-in shower. Just make sure you request what you prefer. The tub had 4 knobs for water and one of them was broken- it came right off the wall and didn't work. These rooms are very loud at night since it's next to I-90 and I-93. They provide a sound soother/ machine and ear plugs, but that may not work for everyone. Parking is valet only, but the valet staff

I first want to send tremendous praise to Damien! He was personable and kind and helped us sort everything out:) The beds were amazing, the bathroom was modern and clean. We enjoyed the complimentary Showtime. The Whole Foods was so convenient since we opted out of breakfast. If you are considering this hotel, go for it. It is worth it!

Friendly staff, smooth check in, hydration stations with ice and water on each floor. Bathroom equipped with upscale toilet and shower. Comfortable temperature through the hotel including hallways (hallways in a Cambridge 4-star hotel were a little too warm). Funny how people gave a one star just because he was given a low floor with lack of view.
