York Beach Surf Club

We had an incredible stay at the York Beach Surf Club! The recent remodel is absolutely beautiful — they did an amazing job creating a space that feels both modern and relaxed, perfect for a beach getaway. The food was fantastic, with fresh, creative dishes that made every meal a highlight of our trip. The drinks were equally impressive — some of the best cocktails we’ve had in a long time! Every staff member we interacted with was warm, welcoming, and went out of their way to make us feel at home. You can really tell they care about creating a great experience. Can’t wait to come back!

We stayed here last night and everything from check-in to check out was fantastic. Great atmosphere. Taylor and Beth along with everyone else were so welcoming. The grounds were amazing- they thought of it all- couches by the heated salt water pools, heaters and lounge chairs under a foot of water to sit at all while bathing in the sun. The bars and food were fantastic. Rooms were very neat, modern and surf style feel. The bed was comfy as well. Oh and what a night with G-Love!! What a fantastic night!!!

UPDATE: Found out that because I booked through Priceline that they were the ones holding up the refund. Unfortunately they could only call the hotel at the number that had been disconnected so I had to physically three way call their sister hotel and Priceline in order to get this taken care of. The staff at the sister hotel were very helpful so I’m updating my review to what the few days we had there were. The hotel and staff itself were great. The situation that happened not so much. My family and I arrived Tuesday and e Everything was great. The room was nice. Staff are great then on Friday we were told that we had to leave the hotel because the hotel could no longer run because there was a court order and that we would get a full refund and they would allow us to stay for free at the

My sister and I had a nice stay here during October. The rooms were cute and spacious with a nice balcony. It is a great location directly across from Long Sands. Our room was clean. It was off-season, so I can see how this hotel could be incredible during the summer (it looked like there was a pool, firepit and outdoor gathering areas). The front desk was kind enough to leave us our key in a convenient location for pick-up when we checked in after hours. One issue that I did see on other reviews is that doors to the hotel are propped open, which feels unsafe. Although the rooms themselves had locks, we were totally unable to fully close the doors to the hotel (door from the stairwell to the rooms on the second floor). We had an absolutely amazing stay! The room was beautiful, clean, and quiet with a wonderful view of the ocean. The staff were kind and attentive. The coffee from the cafe was delicious. Pet friendly properties are hard to come by in this area so finding the York Beach Surf Club has become a game changer for us! 10/10, would highly recommend. We will be back for sure!
