Burnette's Campground

I have had the same seasonal site for the past 3 seasons. My son Chris who sadly passed away 2 years ago found Burnett's campground and fell in love with it. He organized a father daughter weekend camping trip for two years before he became ill. At one point my granddaughter said it was the most fun she had ever had. I have a Class C- the girls stayed in the RV and the dad stayed in tents. Chris made friends here and I have continued staying here spring, summer, and fall partly in memory of Chris. He nicknamed the owner Fabulous Judy and believe me , it is a fitting nickname. Burnetts Campground is her " baby" and it is beautiful and friendly and organized and clean. It is right in town, next to the zoo, so it could not be more convenient for dining, shopping, beaching. (Sadly pets are not

We were able to call the day of and get a site with full hookups. This is mostly a seasonal campground but they have a few sites that are open for daily rental. Staff were super nice, loved the entrance and BEAUTIFUL home/front office, and the campground was very clean and quiet. The town was awesome and I wish we could have stayed longer. If you've got more than a 20' trailer make sure you take the turn into the campground WIDE!

This campground was so fun! We were tent camping for my birthday and we had a blast. It does get very quiet at night, but the staff is so friendly. The bathroom and showers were VERY clean and the grounds were well kept. Remember that you need quarters to use the showers! The location was perfect; right in town with everything in walking distance including the beach.

4 yrs here and will be back for more! Clean well managed campground 1 block from Short Sands Beach, Awesome community and very well run.

I truly don’t know where to start except to say that Dave, Judy, David, and Amanda were the BEST hosts I’ve ever known! I had reservations for four days and ended staying two weeks! Judy went out of her way to accommodate me, and told me where to shop, where the locals eat, and what to see while I was in the area. The campsites were clean and spacious, the bathhouse was immaculate, and I had the best vacation of my life. The folks in the seasonal sites were friendly and welcoming as well and by the time I left (and I wish I’d stayed longer) I truly felt like a part of a family. I give Burnett’s all the stars and cannot wait to return!!!
