Lynwood Inn

We stayed here for 2 nights and really enjoyed this place. The inn keeper Kathy was very nice and offered us wine for our anniversary. The room was spacious and had plenty of amenities. There was a little deck which was a perfect spot to sit and read or enjoy some fresh air. The location was top notch - a very short walk to Short Sands beach and town. Very quiet so I wouldn't stay here with kids but great for couples. Definitely recommended.

We were able to add an extra day to our Maine adventure, but our hotel in OOB could not take us early - so we opted to stay one night in York - What a great place. Todd at the Lynwood was very personable and helpful with our stay. There was a mix up with the rooms - but they worked everything out and we had a very fine stay - the Inn is very clean and except for other occupants who had noisy kids - our stay was quite lovely. The inn is within walking distance to the Nubble light house and ICE CREAM! Oh and on Todd's suggestion - you have to visit Gaskins for the best BBQ! We had lots of fun in our short stay. Would recommend this Inn.

The inn keeper Cathy was very friendly. The location is perfect. Plenty of things to do within walking distance. The rooms are a little outdated but very spacious and clean. I would definitely stay here again

My girlfriend and I came up from Boston for the holiday weekend and had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Lynwood Inn. It was a quick hour-and-a-half drive, and everything from check-in to check-out was smooth and welcoming. We loved the convenient parking- there’s a private lot around the back, and we were given a car pass and two room keys upon arrival. Our room was at ground level, facing the main street, and it was incredibly peaceful and relaxing. The room itself was spotless, spacious, and clearly recently updated- very comfortable and modern without losing cozy inn charm. The bathroom was equally clean and well-maintained. One of the best parts was the location. It’s just a short walk to the beach, and we had no trouble carrying all of our stuff over. We explored the nearby shop

This inn is a shining example of hospitality Excellent location, comfortable rooms, nicely set up for sleeping, relaxing and food preparation. And then there's Innkeeper Cathy, a hostess who knows how to make you feel very special. Five stars are really not enough.
