Sea Turn Motel

We stayed for the second year in a row during late September, when the ocean water is cool but not freezing like June! The dog friendly rooms harken to the 1950's in size and elegance but were quite clean with 2 comfortable full size beds, small table to eat, frig, microwave and cozy but adequate bathroom. This late in the season, the pool isn't open but most restaurants nearby are still open and crowds are not an issue. Our large dog could run loose on the beach without any issues with the many other dogs. The motel is about 200 feet from the north end of the mile-plus Long Sands Beach with easily walkable convenience stores and restaurants right down the street. Short Sands Beach, a playground and the charming downtown are just 1/2 mile walk or drive north. Parking is FREE. Nubble

Absolutely amazing experience at the sea turn and will most definitely be back!! Cedar the general manager is always around and very friendly. Her dog Nova was an absolute joy to see every day and just the sweetest best girl. The room was very clean and had everything you would need. It was a bit small but we were there just to sleep and get to the ocean so it can't be beat. Location is phenomenal, loved that we could walk over to short sands in less than 15 minutes and enjoy long sands right there. I enjoyed the pool and It was pretty quiet there despite being on the main road. Also loved sitting out on the porch to read or have coffee. Staff I saw were very attentive and welcoming. We can't wait to be back with our dog!!

There is a big back yard for walking your pet. It's closed to everything. Beach is across the rd. Rooms are very clean. The owners are very friendly. The pool is clean. They have places to rinse off from the beach and they have towels for your pets after rinsing them off. They only charged $10 for your pets which is awesome some places want $50 a day. We'll be coming back for sure.

Absolutely loved our stay here! The room was small but clean and perfect of us. You cannot beat the location- often we wouldn't even wear shoes to get to the beach! Cedar was extremely welcoming and accommodating along with the cleaning staff (and Nova!). We will 100% be back next year with our dog again.

We stayed here for the first time on 7/16/25 with our dog. The room was ample sized and clean. There is a grassy area out back for walking the dog. Everyone we met was friendly, very family oriented. The best part is the proximity to Long Sands Beach. We also ordered takeout from Sun and Surf Restaurant for breakfast. It was phenomenal. We will be back! Thank you Sea Turn!
