Morning Glory Inn

My family recently stayed at Morning Glory Inn and I cannot say enough great things about our visit. The rooms were lovely and comfortable. The Inn itself was beautifully decorated with great attention to detail. The breakfast was incredible with homemade quiches, muffins, breads and beautifully arranged fresh fruit cups. Although you come to Maine for the beautiful beaches and surroundings, the visit to Morning Glory Inn itself is worth the visit! The innkeeper was welcoming and gracious and his staff was amazing. We highly recommend a stay here!

The Morning Glory Inn is in a very quiet area and is surrounded by trees and perennial gardens but is only a short drive away through the woods and town to local beaches and the shops and restaurants of Ogunquit. It has a very spacious common room with a variety of seating areas and is furnished with lovely antiques. There is a library on the second floor overlooking this room that has an amazing collection of classic and modern books and offers additional seating. Individuals, families, friends, anyone seeking inspiration or a break from their busy lives will likely enjoy staying here. A continental breakfast is provided with tables both indoors and on the patio. Stays of one night are possible, convenient for those looking for a stopover on their way to the Coastal Botanical Gardens, Aca

Disappointed!! We arrived and the person that greeted us seemed to be preoccupied with getting the other rooms ready or something. There are "NO" perks here. No coffee or treats waiting when you arrive not even an extra roll of toilet paper in your bathroom.. It would be nice if the room had seating for at least two people but I was ok sitting on the ottoman. The owner showed up a little later and gave us some information about the wifi and entry after hours. The bed was very comfortable and the coffee was ready in the morning at 7am with a very "limited" continental breakfast and did I say limited.

This is the cutest little inn! I was in town for a wedding and was looking for a nice place to spend the night before heading home. I’m so upset that we didn’t stay longer!! This little inn was so adorable and cozy. You really felt like you were sleeping in someone’s old New England seacoast home. Our room had a private deck with beautiful views of the forest around. The owner is absolutely lovely and wanted to make sure we had the best stay possible even though it was for just one night. There was also breakfast and coffee available in the morning. It was absolutely wonderful to be able to sit outside on the deck, sipping coffee from a big mug. 10/10 must visit!

For my dad and I, this inn was in a perfect location. Close to the village of York, walks along York harbor, the beaches and restaurants - but not too close. It is in a wooded area and was wonderfully quiet with a lovely garden. Breakfast was really good and the rooms were cosy, clean, and functional. There is a sitting area, and library in this renovated farmhouse. Doug is a fine and patient host. My dad and I had a wonderful time in Maine, and this B&B was a excellent part of our experience.
